 | Buckman - Firestone wedding 1913
A very pretty wedding took place at the home of Mrs. W. L. Firestone last Saturday evening, when her daughter Gladys was married to Mr. James Buckman, a son of Mr. Ed. Buckman. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C. E. Roberts, pastor of the Dover and Wakarusa churches. The bride was attended by her sister Effie, and the groom's best man was Mr. Duncan Henderson....The bridal party stood under an arch of evergreen, from the center of which a bell was suspended. The bride and maid of honor were dressed in white, and carried flowers....Very few outside of the immediate families were present, and about sixty invitations were extended."
