"Jerry Kaylor, DECEMBER 16, 1919 - DECEMBER 29, 2004. Jerry C. Kaylor, 85, Martinsville, died at 9 p.m. on Dec. 29, 2004, at the home of his sister. The son of the late William Walter and Mattie Elizabeth (Newman) Kaylor, he was born Dec. 16, 1919, in Madison County, Ky. Kaylor was a self-employed farmer. He was a veteran of the United States Marines and a non-denominational Christian. He enjoyed fishing. Survivors include three sisters, Lula Brummett, Martinsville; Mattie Elizabeth Stier, Muskego, Wis., and Sarah Freda Groth, Abilene, Kansas. Two sisters, Naomi Brummett, Volitta Kaylor, and four brothers, Jack, Victor, Robert and Guy Cleo Kaylor, also preceded him in death. The service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Costin Funeral Chapel in Martinsville. Burial with military rites will be in Mt. Olive Fairview Cemetery in Martinsville."
