    Text Dewey E. George of Macomb Dies

    Dewey E. George, 73, of 414 E. Randolph St., a retired farmer, died Sunday at 12:05 p.m. at McDonough District Hospital where he had been a patient six weeks.

    Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Sargent Funeral Home. The Rev. Dewitt Ellinwood will conduct the services and burial will be a Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Friends may call anytime Tuesday at the funeral home where visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Heart Fund and those who wish to make contributions.

    Mr. George was born April 28, 1898, in Fountain Green Township, Hancock County, the son of John Henry and Mary Ellen Greenly George. He farmed near Blandinsville until nine years ago when he moved to Macomb. He attended the Methodist Church.

    On August 28, 1918, he married Reva Irene Fisher at Carthage. She survives.

    Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dallas (Audrey) Cramer of rural Blandinsville and Mrs. Betty Gardner of Macomb; two sisters, Mrs Dora Alton of Blandinsville and Mrs. May Carmack of LaHarpe; four grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.

    Five brothers, Clarence, Jacob, Henry, Cecil and Raymond George, a sister, Mrs. Florence Jones, and a granddaughter are deceased.
