Dorothy J. Fisher
Dorothy J. Fisher, 62, 1400 S. Johnson St., No. 70, Macomb, formerly of Blandinsville, died at 8:05 a.m. Sunday Dec. 19, 1993 at McDonough District Hospital.
She was born March 14, 1931 in Blandinsville to Alpha and Olive (Hill) Bourn. She married Everette Reon Fisher Oct. 28, 1950 in Hernando, Miss. He survives.
She is also survived by one daughter, Laura Fisher of Macomb; two brothers, A.J. Bourn of Macomb and Wesley Bourn of Burlington Iowa; one sister June (George) Nollen of Burlington, Iowa; two half-brothers, Richard Hill of Austin, Texas and Norman Bourn of Burlington, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca June, and one son, Douglas Dean, both in infancy, and two brothers.
Mrs. Fisher lived most of her life in the Blandinsville area before moving to Mississippi in 1979 and then back to Macomb in 1984. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Macomb and worked as a homemaker for the McDonough County Health Department. |
