    • Appears Cora’s estate went to probate was because she owned the property (“Lot 13 Block 6 in Elgin’s 2nd Addition to Mystic IA”) upon which she and husband Calvin Inman lived. Not clear why he did not inherit directly. Presumably Cora left no will. Unusual that property would be held in her name vs husband at this time in history. Calvin agrees to appoint Pearl Robison administratrix of probate presumably because having interest in the property he could not serve as administrar himself.

      Pearl was paid $50 to serve as administratrix. Louis Holder provided surety bond of $200 to assure proper administration by Pearl.

      Per the record, Cora left as heirs: “T. C. Inman, her husband, Mystic IA; Fred Fisher a brother, Tulsa OK; No children were born to said Deceased as a result of her marriage to said T. C. Inman, and both are without issue.”

      Property was appraised at $1000. No debts owed on property. Calvin Inman declared “sole and absolute owner” at conclusion of probate.
