When she was a little girl she moved with her parents from Fort Madison to Locust Hill, in Knox county, Missouri, where she was married on June 18, 1882 to John K. Fisher. Soon after they moved to the Blandinsville, IL area. John preceded her in death Dec. 19, 1891. Sometime between 1920 and 1930 she moved to to the White Salmon, WA area to be near her daughters Bertha and Letha. She passed away in White Salmon, Washington, 8 p.m., November 28, 1936, aged 80 years, 18 days. Her funeral was held at the Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon and interment was in Rose City Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Surviving her: daughters Letha Alexander of Portland, OR, and Bertha Vigus of White Salmon, WA and step-children Martha Bushnell, W. H. Fisher and Chas. A. Fisher all of Blandinsville, IL. A son, Grover C. Fisher died in infancy. Her step-daughter, Mary Attebery of Kirksville, Missouri, also preceded her in death.
