  		Obituary: Murvin Purcell 1936. "Murvin Purcell, 30, a native of Nicholas county, died at the Massie Memorial hospital at 3:15 o'clock this morning of an infection of the blood stream. He had been ill for several weeks. He was the son of Eliza Martin Purcell and the late Riley Purcell, and, in addition addition to his mother, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Willie Ward Purcell; a son, Warren Bishop Purcell; two daughters. Elizabeth and Bettie Lou Purcell, all of Bourbon county, and two brothers, Edwrad Purcell, Bourbon county, and Claude Purcell, Lexington. Funeral services will be held at the residence on the Cynthiana pike at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon, Rev. Clarence Walker, Lexington, officiating. Burial will be in the Carlisle cemetery."
