Born in Rockcastle County, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Cummins Johnson she was a member of the Highlands Baptist Church, survived by her husband, Harold Ward; two sons, Harold Kenneth Ward, Georgetown, Ronald Edward Ward, Lexington; three grand-children, Chris, Damon and Corinne Ward, all of Georgetown. Services 2 p.m. today at Highlands Baptist Church with Rev. Henry Downing and Rev. W.M. Averett officiating. Burial in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Woodrow Thompson, John Sims, Roy Stevens, Raymond Simmons, Jesse Taylor and Earnest Hacker."
