Obituary: Noble Corbin 1933 "Succumbs at St. Joseph's Hospital; Funeral Services to Be Held Tuesday. Noble Corbin, 45 years old, died yesterday morning at 3:10 o'clock at St. Joseph's hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Corbin, who was the son of the late Nannie Ward and E. T. Corbin, was born and reared in Woodford county. Mr. Corbin is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Thomas Lowery, Mrs. J. L. Page and Mrs. W. J. Page, all of Lexington, and Mrs. Bertha Beehler, of Los Angeles, Calif.; three brothers, Charles Corbin, of Wilmore; Arthur Corbin, and William Corbin, both of Lexington." |

Corbin, of Lexington, was today in the county jail, where he was sent to ponder over the matter of obeying the order of the Fayette Circuit court to pay out $7.50 a week alimony. He is alleged to have failed to comply with judgment entered on July 17, 1920. directing him to pay that amount of alimony weekly and he was adjudged contempt of court. He will be held in the county jail until the alimony is paid or until further orders of the court." |
