Obituary: Frank Carew 1937. "GEORGETOWN, Ky., Oct. 5. - Frank Carew, 68, farmer, died at 7 o'clock Monday night at his home on the Lemon's Mill pike after a two-years illness. The body was removed to Johnson's funeral home in Georgetown. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, at the Cane Run Baptist church, of which he was a member. The Rev. J. R. White, of Louisville, will officiate. Burial will be in the Georgetown cemetery. Casketbearers will be Harold Ward, Eddie Ward, Vallie Price, Charles Price, George Price and Nova Simpson. Mr. Carew is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Carew; five daughters, Mrs. Nannie Rutledge, Donerail; Mrs. Clyde Baston, Fayette county: Mrs. Orville Payne, Scott county, and Misses Mamie and Jessie Carew, Scott county, and four sons, Allen, Henry, Frank and Orie Carew, all of Georgetown." |
