"Mrs. Hettie Ward Carew, 75, died Thursday afternoon, Mercy Hospital, Hamilton, Ohio, after short illness. Member First Nazarene Church here, widow Frank Carew. Survivors: Daughters, Mrs. Pearl Payne, Mrs. William Peak, Mrs. Fred Rutledge, all of Georgetown; Mrs. Henry True, Cincinnati; sons, Allen Carew, Georgetown; Henry Carew, Bourbon County; Frank and Ora Carew, Hamilton, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Jess Baker, Lexington; Mrs. Alex Rennie, Ohio; brother, Henry Ward, Lebanon, Ohio; 28 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. Services, 2:30 p.m. (CDT) Monday, First Nazarene Church, the Rev. Bruce Foley, the Rev. L. H. Roebuck. Burial, Georgetown Cemetery. Body will be taken to church at 1 p.m. Monday from Johnson's Funeral Home to lie in state.
