Obituary: Jesse Allen Baker 1951 "Jessie Allen Baker, 63, of 300 Sherman avenue, head miller at the Lexington Roller Mills, died yesterday morning while en route to Good Samaritan hospital after suffering a heart attack at the mill. Mr. Baker, an employee of the mill for 35 years, was stricken at about 11 a. m. A native of Jessamine county, he was a son of the late Nathan and Fannie Price Baker. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bettie Ward Baker; five daughters, Mrs. Frank Price, Daytona Beach, Fla, Walter Darnell, Miss Altal Baker and Miss Geraldine Baker, all of Lexington: two half sisters, Mrs. A. T. Carter, St. Augustine, Fla., and Mrs. Charles Raymond, Jacksonville, Fla, and six grandchildren." |
