Obituary: Carlos Baker 1943 "BAKER - Carlos Baker, 57, of 352 Jefferson street, died at 9:05 o'clock Tuesday night at St. Joseph's hospital as a result of a heart attack. A native of of Lexington, Mr. Baker was a son of Nathan Baker, and a member of the Ashland Avenue Baptist church. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Wilburn Baker, and two daughters, Shunita and Juanita, all of Lexington; five sons, Pfc. Alfound Baker, Fort Rainbow, Texas; Cpl. Ernest Gene Baker, Richmond, Va., airbase; Cpl. Homer D. Baker, Blitheville, Ark.; Pfc. Orlon H. Baker, Camp Swift, Texas, and Robert H. Baker, Lexington, and a brother, Jess Baker, also of Lexington." |
