"Mrs. Preston Dill died at her home in this city Saturday evening. She had been ill several days and on Friday an examination was made, and it was found that she was suffering with an abscess of the liver. An operation was performed the same evening by Drs. Evans, Jaquith and Snow, but the patient was to far gone to recover from the same. - "The body was brought down from Council Grove Monday on the 11:30 train, and the funeral services were held at the residence of her parents at 1 o'clock, the interment taking place in the Americus cemetery."
