    • Josiah's mother's obituary (Elizabeth Brown Fisher) states that at the time of her death in June 1900: "Josiah's health is such that it is impossible for him to be
      present at this time. He is at present in Missouri and very sick."
    • News article from July 1900 states he was returning home from treatment at Macomb IL, "maybe better." However, given the downward progression of his health in news articles from 1899 to Jul 1900, seems safe to assume that Josiah died in 3Q or4Q 1900. Can find no further new news articles concerning Josiah's health after Jul 1900. Oddly can no obituary or burial record for him anywhere.
