	From his obituary: Abe Lincoln Pensinger "was born in Greencastle, Penna., on October 11, 1861, the son of George and Christina Rutterual Pensinger. He grew to manhood there and when he was 21 years old came to Illinois. He settled here in western McDonough county and lived all the rest of his life in the vicinity of Colchester and Blandinsville, For many years past he had made his home on the county line road straight west of here (Blandinsville). On August 81, 1887, he was married to Belle Ashby, who survives him. Four sons were born to them: Faye, who lives in Jordan, Minn., Earl of Tennessee, Ill., and Willis and Hollis who are dead. Mr. Pensinger, who was a farmer all his life, was a kind and loving husband and father, a good meighbor and an honest, industrious man." He died April 14, 1940 at his home a mile west of Blandinsville, age 78 years, six months and three days. His "death was the result of heart trouble and complications. He had been in poor health for the past several years." Funeral services were held at the Robert Funeral Home in Blandinsville, Rev. C. K. Demmel officiating. He was buried April 16, 1940 in Blandinsville South Cemetery,
