Photos George Foster family ca 1894
Left to right: John Robert, George Jerome, Clora May, Alta, Mariah Adaline Creasey, Nancy Mariah, and Cora Edith FosterAlta and Nannie Foster Alta, Nannie, and George Foster
Is this George Foster's home from the family photo ca 1894? Censuses show that Nannie and Alta lived with their father til his death in 1951, and there is no evidence that George ever moved from his original farm. The interior looks very old and outdated, the cast iron stove ancient for a picture that, judging by George's age in the photo, must have been taken only a few years prior his death in 1951. The cane George is holding is presumably "Old Hickory," the cane mentioned in his obituary that he used to walk in to town every day.Alta, Nancy (Nannie) and Cora Edith Foster George Foster family
