2887 On line 9 Ollive's name is spelled incorrectly as Olive. Source (SR28)

2888 On page 34, the text reads: "Adam Fisher, well-known for his work in the early Methodist Society, lived here, as did the Berkeys, Fowlers, Shrums and Jones families." Adam Fisher should read Abel Fisher consistent with the texts on pages 28 and 40. Also where "the story is told of a man and his daughter who died, after being bitten, and were buried in the path to the barn so that the Indians would not know of the deaths," the story likely refers to Abel and son John Fisher. Abel Fisher died at Fort Ligonier during the Revolutionary War and was buried at his farm as described on page 40 of "Our Heritage", and in "A Historical Sketch of One Of The Fisher Families By One Of Them." According to the Sketch, John died of a rattlesnake bite shortly after Abel and was buried next to him on the farm. Source (SR54)

2897 Only a month after being released on bond from the Macomb jail charged with "burglarizing the cellar of Chas. Ballou of Blandinsville and taking some beer," Orville is arrested for public drunkenness 2 Aug 1906 at the Farmer's community picnic in Blandinsville. He escapes jail that day and hides out in Blandinsville until Aug 4 (presumably at family or friends). He is re-arrested on Aug 4 south of Blandinsville while attempting to flee to Colchester. He was tried for drunk and disorderly conduct before the local Police Magistrate and sentenced to $25 payable in ten days. Orville skips town without paying sometime before Aug 9 when article was printed. A month later Orville will be arrested in Burlington IA charged with assault to commit rape of a five year old girl. FISHER Orville Benjamin (I217)
