Mrs. Edith Fisher of Bushnell Dies
Mrs. Edith J. Fisher, 69, of Bushnell died this morning at 8:45 a.m. at McDonough District Hospital.
Services for Mrs. Fisher are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell with burial in Good Hope Cemetery.
She was born March 29, 1903, the daughter of Thomas and Cordelia Melton Smith in LaHarpe.
She was a member of the Methodist Church of Good Hope and had lived in Bushnell for the past 15 years.
Mrs. Fisher married Truman Fisher, April 16, 1926 at Macomb. He survives. Also surviving are three sons, Robert of Macomb, Charles of Bushnell, and Jerry of Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs Dean (Loretta) Barker of Good Hope, and Mrs. Jim (Mary Lou) Bartlett of Bushnell; 16 grandchildren; and a brother, Dewey Smith of El Paso.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday until the hour of the services. |
