Reva George
Services for Reva I. George, 83, of Macomb, who died Sunday In McDonough District Hospital will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sargent-Worthington funeral home.
Burial is in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Friends may call anytime after 8 a.m. Tuesday and family visitation is 7-9 p.m. Memorials may be made in her memory and left at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 5, 1901 in Blandinsville, a daughter of Charles and Florence Ashby Fisher. She was a member of the Blandinsville Baptist Church.
She married Dewey E. George Aug. 28, 1918 In Carthage. He died Feb. 6, 1972.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dallas (Audrey) Cramer of Blandinsville and Mrs. Mac (Betty) Gardner of Macomb; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Madelyne Fenton and Ruth Hobby, both of Blandinsville, Jessie Ruberts of Washington, Ill., and Dorothy Cox of Vermont. She was preceded in death by a sister, May Fisher, and four brothers, Truman, Raymond, Paul and Zella. |
