CORWIN, Sarah Ethel (Ward) 96, Lebanon passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Otterbein Home. Born May 11, 1915 in Bybee, KY, the daughter of Henry and Mollie Ward, she was a loving mother and grandmother and a dear friend to many in the Lebanon area. She was a member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star Lebanon Chapter #343. Preceded in death by her parents, dear husband Louie Mounts Corwin, brothers Frank, Art and James Ward, and sisters Jenny Parham and Betty Gary, she is survived by her dear children Jon Corwin of Lebanon and Kay Sue Ott of Dayton, brother Lester War of Dayton, sister Polly (Edward) Chmiel of Colorado, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation and funeral service was held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Stine & Kilburn Funeral Home, Lebanon with Rev. Kent Swigert officiating. Burial was in the Lebanon Cemetery. |
