Services Saturday For Mrs. Lomax, 30-Year Resident
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna M. Lomax, 48, of 2406 W. Millman St., who died at her home at 8:50 a.m. Thursday, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Davison Funeral Home.
The Rev. Robert Austin of the Howett Street Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
Mrs. Lomax was the wife of Orville L. Lomax, to whom she was married at Macomb Dec. 6, 1926. They had resided in Peoria 30 years. She was a member of Howett Street Christian Church here. Born at La Harpe May 12, 1909, she was a daughter of Thomas and Cordelia Melton Smith.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Boyer or Peoria; two sons, Richard L. Lomax, also of Peoria, and Pfc. Ronald Lomax, with the U. S. Army at Fort Sill, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Young and Mrs. Edith Fisher, both of Good Hope; one brother, Dewey Smith of El Paso; and two grandchildren. |
