    Text Funeral services here for Wesley S. Fisher

    Funeral services for Wesley Stuart Fisher were held at the Methodist church in Burlingame at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon, September 22, 1932, conducted by Rev. J. W. Tweed. The hymns were sung by Miss Florence Thompson and Miss Veda Hakes and Miss Pearl White played the organ. Six nephews, Douglas Edgar, Floyd and Perry Fisher, and Ray and Walter Firestone were pall bearers. Burial was in the Burlingame cemetery.

    Wesley Fisher, for many years a resident of the Burlingame community, was born at Tubbsmills, Pennsylvania, August 17, 1848 and died at his home in Turon, Kansas, September 21, 1832.

    In 1893 he was united in marriage to Miss Alice Virginia Harris whom he leaves to morn his death. Besides his widow he is survived by two brothers, J. C. Fisher of Burlingame, and Austin Fisher of Wakarusa; and two sisters, Mrs Frank Graff of Bergman, Arkansas, and Mrs. W. L. Firestone of Dover and a number of nieces and nephews. His father, mother, two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
