1051 | Death follows fall 1922 "William Caylor (should be Kaylor), 20, fell backward from a box one-foot high at the Kentucky Flooring Company, Cook Avenue. Thursday morning at 9:30 o-clock and died in thirty minutes later due to fracture of the base of the skull. He expired when being removed from an ambulance at the Clark County Hospital. Caylor was working on an overhead at the plant where he is employed, using a box to stand on. His equilibrium was destroyed by a tilting of the base. and be fell suddenly, the back of his head striking the floor. The wound bled profusely, more than a pint of bloody water coming from the injured skull. The deceased is survired by a wife, formerly Miss Stokler, whom he married recently. His home is on Mutual Avenue in North Park." |
